DAY 01: Boarding the train [12345 saraighat exp.] from Howrah railway station @ 03:50pm.

DAY 02: Arrival at Guwahai railway station at around at 10:05am we will check-in to hotel. After some refreshment we will visit Kamakhya temple. Night stay in Guwahati.

DAY 03: Post breakfast we will leave Guwahati and start for Shillong. Shillong is the capital and hill station of Meghalaya, also known as Abode of Cloud. En route visit Barapani lake or Umium lake, Golf course, Ward’s lake etc. By afternoon reach at Shillong. Check in to the hotel. Evening is free for individual activities. Spend your time as you want to. Visit Police bazar. Overnight stay at Shillong.

 DAY 04: After having breakfast start an excursion to Cherrapunji. We visit Shillong Peak at a height of about 6433 FT. And also explore the other sightseeing places like, Elephant Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, and Seven Sister falls. In the evening we will return back to Shillong and night stay at hotel.

DAY 05: After breakfast, proceed for a day excursion to Mawlynnong. This village is the cleanest village in Asia. Here,  you can see the famous Living Root Bridge and sky walk [Located a little away from the entry point to Mawlynnong, there stands the Sky Walk, a unique structure that gives a glimpse to the neighbouring country of Bangladesh. It is an eco-friendly ladder-like structure that has been made entirely of bamboo poles tied to branches of six trees using jute and bamboo ropes. No nails or any metal has been used in putting the structure together.] Then, walk around the charming Mawlynnong Village is really a heavenly feeling. After visiting sky walk we will go to see the another wonder of Meghalaya, the famous natural root bridge or you can say living root bridge. [These are naturally built bridges mainly built by firstly planting two rubber trees of the Ficus elastica on either side of a river. These trees usually take about a decade to grow and generate secondary aerial roots.]

After that, we will visit Dawki [Dawki is most famous among tourists for the fascinating Umngot River, also known as Dawki River, which features water so clear it could be mistaken for a see-through glass. And also for a

the enjoyable boat ride, this place is also famous for the Indo-Bangladesh international border.]

After covering those sightseeing we will return back to our hotel at Shillong and take night rest there.

DAY 06: Early in the morning  drive from  Shillong to Kaziranga National Park (approx. 266kms) – a World heritage site and Tiger reserve is home to more than eighty percent of the world’s population of the great One horned rhinoceros. It has a significant population of Asian Elephant and water Buffalos living here and a wide variety of fauna and avifauna in a unique habitat of mainly grasslands, close tangled and thorny rattan cane, elephant grass and tall trees of evergreen forest and numerous water bodies. More than 400 species of birds both resident and migratory are found here. Over night at Kaziranga. 

DAY 07: Early morning visit Kaziranga forest for jungle safari back to hotel. After lunch checkout from hotel and drive back to Guwahati (approx. 204km). Night stay at Guwahati.

DAY 08: Morning checkout from hotel transfer to Guwahati railway station to board the train for return journey.

DAY 09: Return to Kolkata, carrying the sweet memories of your journey.
