Night stays:

Jammu = 1 night stay, Srinagar = 3 night stay, Pahelgam = 2 Night stay, Katra = 2night stay

 

Inclusion:

# Family wise non AC hotel room accommodation

ITINERARY:

 

DAY 01, Train from Howrah Station.

 

DAY 02, Journey by train.

 

DAY 03,  On arrival at Jammu railway station you will be transfer to Hotel. Rest of the day is free for individual activities, like Raghunath temple darshan [walking distance from our hotel] you can also do some shopping. Overnight stay at hotel in Jammu.

 

DAY 04 :  Early in the morning Proceed to Pahalgam ( The Valley of Shepherds). [the distance from Jammu to Pahelgam is about 290 km] On arrival check-in to hotel and overnight stay in Pahelgam.

 

DAY 05 :  The day is free for individual activities like horse riding (at own cost) to Baisharan valley or visit Aaru Vally & Chandanwari by car (at own cost). Overnight stay in Pahelgam.

 

DAY 06 :   Early in the morning start for a full day excursion to Gulmarg (approx 140 km)(Meadow of Flowers).  Gulmarg has  one of the best Ski slopes in the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of  Nanga Parbat if weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a cable car ride (at own cost) from Gulmarg to Gandola by. Drive back from Gulmarg to Srinagar ( approx 60 km ) and check-in to hotel for night rest.

 

DAY 07 :  After breakfast you can enjoy the Shikara riding [at own cost] and shopping at Dal lake’s floating market. After lunch start for covering the local sightseeing of  Srinagar,  visit Hazrat bal shrine, Mughal Gardens, visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) built by Asif Khan brother in law of Jehangir in 1632 AD. And Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the  Zabarwan Mountains in the background. The distance from the said gardens to Srinagar is about 12 and 15 kms  respectively. Overnight  stay in Srinagar.

 

DAY 08 :  Full day excursion to Sonamarg. The distance of about 83 kms will be covered about 2½ hrs. Sonamarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. To visit Khajjibas or Jozila pass (zero point) one has to hire a Horse or by car (at own cost). Drive back from Sonamarg and transfer to hotel at Srinagar for overnight stay.

 

DAY 09 :  Early in the morning Proceed to Katra [the distance from Srinagar to Katra is about 270km] On arrival check in to hotel and overnight stay at hotel in Katra.

 

DAY 10 :  After breakfast start for visit the Holy temple of Mata Vaishno Devi. This temple is situated on the top of the hill. To visit this temple one has to hire a pony, Horse [at own cost] or travel by own feet. From Katra the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage is about 14  kms. After visiting the temple return back to Katra in the same day. Overnight stay in hotel at Katra.

 

DAY 11 : After lunch checkout from hotel and transfer to Jammu railway station [the distance from Katra to Jammu railway station is about 40km]  to board the train for return journey.

 

DAY 12 : In transit.

 

DAY 13:  Arrival at Kolkata / Howrah railway station.
