TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 01: Departure from Howrah

• Assemble at Howrah Railway Station and board the scheduled train for Guwahati.
• Begin your exciting journey towards the enchanting landscapes of Northeast India.

DAY 02: Guwahati – Bhalukpong

Distance: Approx. 242 km | Travel Time: 5–6 Hours

Altitude: 213 metres (699 ft)

Temperature (October): 18°C – 28°C

• Arrive at Guwahati Railway Station and proceed towards Bhalukpong, the gateway to Arunachal Pradesh.
• If time permits, visit the Tipi Orchid Research Centre, renowned for its extensive collection of orchid species.
• Check in to the hotel and relax.

Overnight Stay: Bhalukpong

DAY 03: Bhalukpong – Dirang

Distance: Approx. 140 km | Travel Time: 5–6 Hours

Altitude: 1,497 metres (4,911 ft)

Temperature (October): 10°C – 22°C

• After breakfast, proceed towards Dirang through picturesque mountain roads.
• Upon arrival, visit:
  • Thupsung Dargye Ling Monastery
  • Sangti Valley
  • LDL Buddhist Monastery
  • Dirang Dzong (subject to time availability)

Overnight Stay: Dirang

DAY 04: Dirang – Tawang via Sela Pass

Distance: Approx. 130 km | Travel Time: 6–7 Hours

Altitude:

• Tawang: 3,048 metres (10,000 ft)
• Sela Pass: 4,170 metres (13,700 ft)

Temperature (October):

• Tawang: 5°C – 15°C
• Sela Pass: -2°C – 8°C
• After breakfast, proceed towards Tawang via the spectacular Sela Pass, one of India s highest motorable mountain passes.
• Enjoy breathtaking Himalayan scenery throughout the journey.
• Upon arrival, check in to the hotel.

DAY 05: Tawang – Bumla Pass & Madhuri Lake Excursion

Distance: Approx. 85 km (Round Trip)

Travel Time: 4–5 Hours (Subject to permits and road conditions)

Altitude:

• Bumla Pass: 4,633 metres (15,200 ft)
• Madhuri Lake (Sangetsar Lake): 3,708 metres (12,165 ft)

Temperature (October): 0°C – 10°C

• After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to:
  • Bumla Pass
  • Madhuri Lake (Sangetsar Lake)

Visits to Bumla Pass and Madhuri Lake are optional and are not included in the standard tour package. Additional charges, permit fees and vehicle costs will be applicable. Visits are subject to weather conditions, road accessibility and government permissions.

Overnight Stay: Tawang

DAY 06: Tawang Local Sightseeing

Altitude: 3,048 metres (10,000 ft)

Temperature (October): 5°C – 15°C

• After breakfast, visit:
  • Tawang Monastery
  • Jaswant Garh War Memorial
  • Pangateng Tso Lake (subject to weather and road conditions)
• Return to the hotel after sightseeing.

DAY 07: Tawang – Bomdila

Distance: Approx. 175 km | Travel Time: 7–8 Hours

Altitude: 2,530 metres (8,300 ft)

Temperature (October): 10°C – 20°C

• After breakfast, proceed towards Bomdila.
• Upon arrival and after lunch, visit:
  • Bomdila Monastery
  • Bomdila View Point

Overnight Stay: Bomdila

DAY 08: Bomdila – Kaziranga

Distance: Approx. 205 km | Travel Time: 5–6 Hours

Altitude: 80 metres (262 ft)

Temperature (October): 20°C – 30°C

• After breakfast, depart for Kaziranga National Park.
• Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax.

Overnight Stay: Kaziranga

DAY 09: Kaziranga – Guwahati

Distance: Approx. 195 km | Travel Time: 4–5 Hours

Altitude: 55 metres (180 ft)

Temperature (October): 22°C – 31°C

• Early morning, enjoy a Jungle Safari at Kaziranga National Park (subject to availability and forest department regulations).
• Return to the hotel for breakfast and lunch.
• Later, proceed towards Guwahati.

DAY 10: Guwahati – Return Journey

Altitude: 55 metres (180 ft)

Temperature (October): 22°C – 31°C

• After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
• Transfer to Guwahati Railway Station to board the return train to Howrah.

DAY 11: Arrival at Howrah

• Arrive at Howrah Railway Station, bringing an unforgettable journey to a heartfelt conclusion.

• Mountain travel timings are subject to weather, road conditions and local administration advisories.
• Guests may experience mild altitude discomfort at higher elevations such as Tawang and Bumla Pass. Adequate hydration and proper rest are advised.
